Today we will be profiling another one of our wonderful Bunky families, Sekyiwa's birth was a personal game changer for me. Seki was linked to me via a few close friends, and so our relationship and closeness was established quickly and deeply. When I found myself wanting to support her and Matt more deeply, I questioned my old package and in turn made a big change. Swapping out my old offerings into a deeply supported experience, with full 4th trimester support for a full 4 - 6 weeks for all my clients. Here is our story...

Sekyiwa was one of 5 moms starting her labour journey that faithful few days near the full moon, I was running around town juggling moms, contractions and labour texts in between naps and bites of food.

Seki being who she is, worked a full day on set, and then texting me "I think I might be in labour...". Days of “squeezers” followed by a the rising of the wolf blood moon.

Contractions rolling over her as night fell, the decision was made and the trek to the hospital started.

Hard work, a giant bath, and a belly as round as the moon. Three centimeters, three centimeters, three centimeters, rolling with the punches of labour that did not match up the "early labour".

An epidural and then a nap, just what was needed. Everyone stationed around the room, Matt holding Seki, grandma on the bunk, best friend in a chair, and Doula in the tub, all crashed out. Rising an hour later, the victorious ten!

The most determined pushing, and thirty minutes later his beautiful being joined us all. The most community based, loved filled room was waiting all holding their breath. Not an eye was dry and yelps of love were falling out of many mouths. The one, the only Cassius was finally earth-side.
